ZIG-ZAG / 1995
Silver chains, stiff soldering in sections
Photo: Harald Reich
ZIG-ZAG is the title of a series of necklaces which are completely or partly stiffly soldered. The accident which occurs when a snapped necklace is being mended is elevated in this case to a principle of design. Instead of clinging to the body as they usually do, these necklaces are rather bulky and offer a certain amount of resistance.
